MCD Construction expanded into the Commercial sector in mid 2009 as and result of a partnership formed between cousins, Cameron McDonald and Cameron Percy. 

Cameron McDonald is the Managing Director of MCD Construction QLD Pty Ltd. Cameron is a registered builder and qualified Carpenter and Joiner with additional industry qualifications including: Bachelor of Applied Science (Property Economics), Cert.IV in Building, Cert. Engineering & Construction. During the past 17 years Cameron has had experience across various construction sectors including, Hotel and nightclub construction, High rise construction, commercial renovations, New Residential and residential renovations.

Cameron McDonald has been involved in the following successful projects:

  • Neville Bonner Building ($38m - WATPAC)
  • Family Nightclub. Empire Hotel, Press Club, Moon Bar (Katarzyna Group)
  • London Victoria Station Re-development (£43m - Carillian)
  • MCD Constuction (Residential Building) Over 50 Projects


Cameron Percy has been in the Brisbane building industry for over 20 years and has spent 15 of those working with Rohrig and Intero Projects.

Having completed his Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship Cameron Percy spent four years as a foreman with Rohrig, and was one of the founding team members of Intero Projects. He then went on to manage another 123 hospitality projects with Intero, 75 as foreman and 63 as Project Manager.

Cameron Percy's main expertise is managing difficult hospitality based projects, having refurbished over 35 hotels, 36 restaurants, and 33 bottle shops to name a few. Having spent over 20,000 hours directing traffic around difficult hospitality projects, he is now ready to personally ensure that your next project benefits from this experience.

Cameron Percy has also completed several accredited courses on project management and delivery techniques.
